Abstract
A reflection on why tertiary support must include mentorship, work readiness, discipleship, and accountability.
Reflection
Tertiary education is often treated as the final step in sponsorship, but it is actually a delicate transition. Young adults need academic fees, but they also need guidance in decision-making, financial responsibility, faith, emotional maturity, relationships, internships, and pathways into work. This reflection invites donors and institutions to support the whole transition into responsible adulthood.
